Dr. William H. Curtis

Dr. Curtis taught that God’s invitations often lead believers away from safe shores into the open water, where faith must depend on God rather than on security, control, credentials, or resources. Using Peter walking on the water in Matthew 14, he emphasized that saying yes to God does not insulate us from storms. The deep is where believers learn to recognize the Lord’s voice, interpret suffering as formation, and discover new spiritual capacity under pressure.
