We have several activities planned for the Thanksgiving season.
FBCG, in collaboration with Prince George’s County Department of Social Services presents the 2019 Thanksgiving Basket Giveaway. Registration is open from Oct. 14 - Nov. 18, while supplies last. You must already be registered with the Prince George’s County Department of Social Services in order to receive a basket. As such, recipients must have a DSS customer ID number from the Department of Social Services. Please note that only ONE basket per family will be distributed. Regardless of how many people are living in the house who have an individual DSS customer ID, only one can register for the basket. The system will randomly delete duplicates from the same address.
Once the Department of Social Services has verified your DSS customer ID number, you will receive a confirmation letter. You must bring the confirmation letter with you on the day of pick up. The confirmation letter will be sent electronically ONLY. Make sure you input your email correctly for this purpose. Your information must match your ID. Please check to make sure your information is correct before you click submit.

Praise God for another year to be able to make Thanksgiving baskets available to the community, our partners and employees.
As you may be aware, we have new space restrictions at the Worship Center. Keeping that in mind, we have streamlined our processes, reduced our space allocations, cut down the hours of operation and eliminated all meals this year.
We are asking volunteers to assist on the following days and times. Registration is not required. Join us for a few hours!

Worship with us at our Thanksgiving Day service at 9 a.m. at the Worship Center. After the service, we will close for the holiday. We will reopen Sunday, Dec. 1.
As you prepare your Thanksgiving Day dinner, prepare an extra dish and drop it off at the Ministry Center from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., on Thanksgiving Day. Your food donation will be used to provide a hot meal to all who wish to dine with us.
Are you new to the area, a college student or a seasoned citizen? Don't have family and friends here? Are you wondering what you will do for dinner on Thanksgiving Day? Well, don’t sit home alone! We cordially invite you to dine with us at noon on Thanksgiving Day at the Ministry Center.
