Purpose:  The purpose of this ministry is to support all married women who are seeking an in-depth understanding of her role as a wife, thus preserving the institution of marriage. 

The instructions given in this support group are Bible-based focusing on the instructions in 1 Peter, chapter 3. Our goal is to be found in the perfect will of God, serving Him as we serve our husband and family with love.

Vision:  Developing Dynamic Christian Wives

Mission:  The Wives' Support Ministry assists Christian wives by:

Discipleship (1 Peter 3:1-6)

• Providing guidance to married women for maintaining emotional attachment to their husbands, even during the season of spiritual disparity.

• Teaching wives to become totally inspired by the Word of God as it relates to their husbands and home.

• Providing a support system for married women who are alone or feel an imbalance in their spiritual involvement as it relates to their husband.

Discipline (Titus 2:5)

• Learning to understand who we are in Christ and His design for us to fulfill God-given purpose.

• Reinforcing the requirements of God for wives to be chaste keepers at home.

Duplication (Titus 2:4)

• Becoming mentors for younger women who are married and faced with the diverse challenges of marriage.

• Providing support to other ministries by implementing special projects and/or programs that provide a bridge to the Couple's Ministry, Homebuilders' Class and other ministries or classes that enhance the institution of marriage.

Meets 2nd Friday at 7 p.m.
