What is MERGE? MERGE is the place to be for junior high school through college-aged students in the D.C. metropolitan area every other Friday night. Through mentoring, skits, games, music and so much more, MERGE is impacting thousands of youth for Christ. This high-octane worship experience is a collaboration between First Baptist Church of Glenarden’s R.E.B.E.L.S. 4Life and Zion Church’s Remnant youth ministries.

Purpose:
MERGE creates a safe worship environment where today's youth can build relationships, tackle relevant teen issues and have an amazing time while growing closer to God.

Mission/Vision:
Young people are mentored and encouraged to advocate extreme change in their homes, schools and communities by demonstration evidence of Christ’s power in their lives.

Target Audience:
Middle School, High School, and Post High School

Meeting Time(s):
The Experience 1st of each month, Unplugged (Connect Group) occurs every 2nd, 3rd, and 4th Friday’s.

Program Schedule:
MERGE is held on the first Friday of each month at 8:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Glenarden Worship Center, 600 Watkins Park Drive, Upper Marlboro, MD. Doors open at 7:30 p.m.

Each MERGE experience is different, consisting of praise and worship, dance, games, giveaways and small group sessions designed to tackle issues hindering young people. MERGE also features Christian rap, hip-hop, go-go, rock, illustrative messages and dramas. It is a fun, relaxed, interactive, "come as you are" environment, where youth are welcomed and encouraged to grow closer to God.

MERGE Unplugged (Connect Groups) occurs every 2nd, 3rd & 4th Friday.   Connect Groups. Connect Groups are same gender small group (middle school, high school, and post high school) settings within the larger MERGE family. For additional information, please e-mail smallgroups@mergedmv.com.
