This 10-week course is designed for engaged couples who
feel confident that God is leading them toward the
covenant of marriage. It provides a biblical blueprint
for developing Christ –centered marriage. The course
covers such topics as marital myths, the real meaning of
vows, effective communication, resolving conflict, and
sex.
BEGINNING SIGN LANGUAGE GS408
This beginner course will introduce American Sign
Language (ASL) structure, and will teach basic skills
and vocabulary and relate common ways to communicate and
minister within the deaf and hearing communities. This
course will include religious signs, receptive and
expressive readiness activities, vocabulary development,
finger spelling and information about the deaf
community.

Through group study format, this course introduces the
biblical concept of peacemaking.
DIVORCE CARE GS490
The purpose of the class is to minister to individuals
who have experienced the tragedy of divorce and/or
separation, providing a healing environment. The class
will cover all of the emotions associated with
separation and divorce (i.e., anger, depression,
unforgiveness, loneliness, etc.) while fostering an
environment for reconciliation of marriages where
possible.
EFFECTIVE COMMUNICATIONS GS422

This course will help women recognize their position in

HOMEBUILDERS V: MASTERING MONEY IN YOUR MARRIAGE

Couples will learn how to work on money issues and
strengthen their marriage at the same time. This course
is designed to bring husbands and wives closer to God as
they learn to manage money wisely, practice stewardship
in light of God's Word, set wise financial goals that
honor God, discover how borrowing money can affect
long-term financial success, and understand the
principle of giving in relation to financial freedom.

HOW TO STUDY THE BIBLE FD104
Learn how to effectively study the Bible, using the
proper study tools. A brief history of the Bible will be
presented. Students learn with “hands on” activities in
and out of class. Must have specified Bible resource
books on hand, to complete the course.
INTERMEDIATE/ADVANCED SIGN LANGUAGE GS423

couple the opportunity to safely explore and evaluate
their decision to love for a lifetime. Engaged or not,
this class helps the couple understand - if this is
their season for marriage. (For purposes of this class,
the term couple is defined as two people, male and
female, who have mutually identified each other as
possible candidates for marriage.)

101-PRODUCTIVITY SUITE
An overview of the personal computer, how to manage
computer files, troubleshoot Windows 7 and connect
network and printing devices is the focus of this
introductory class. Students will learn the basics of
Office 2010 and compare the differences from Office
2007/2003. Students will create new documents,
slideshows and spreadsheets and will be given an
introduction to using Microsoft office templates. Book:

MICROSOFT OFFICE WORD 2010 LEVEL 1
This course will introduce students to the basics in
word processing in Microsoft Word 2010. Students will
create, edit, and enhance standard business documents
using Microsoft Office Word 2010. Book: Word 2010 Level

MICROSOFT OFFICE POWERPOINT 2010 LEVEL 1:
This course will introduce students to the basics of
PowerPoint 2010. Students will explore the PowerPoint
environment and create a presentation. You will learn to
format and modify text on slides. Book: PowerPoint 2010

This course will introduce students to the basics of
Microsoft Excel 2010. Students will learn how to open,
save and create a worksheet, how to use rows, cells, and

WEB DESIGN 101: HTML
This class will introduce you to Hyper-Text Markup
Language (HTML), the basic building block of web site
design. You will learn to build a Ministry web site
using the most common elements of a web page such as:
title, paragraphs, headings, lists, links, images, and
tables.
Requirements: There is no text book for this class. As
stated above, please bring a USB/flash drive to take
your work with you at the end of the class.
Prerequisites: None; assumes that you have no previous
knowledge of HTML or CSS.
WEB DESIGN 201: CSS
This class will introduce you to Cascading Style Sheets
(CSS), the second basic building block of web site
design. CSS is a way to style HTML. Whereas the HTML is
the content, the style sheet is the presentation of that
site. You will learn to apply the look and feel (colors,
fonts, margins, padding, and borders) to your Ministry
site by styling the most used elements of a web page
such as: paragraphs, headings, lists, links, images, and
tables. You will also learn how to use CSS to layout
your web site. Requirements:
There is no text book for this class. As stated above,
please bring a USB/flash drive to take your work with
you at the end of the class.
Prerequisites: You must have previous knowledge of HTML
or have taken Web Design 101: HTML.
WEB DESIGN 301: WORDPRESS
This class will teach you how to use WordPress, a
powerful Content Management System (CMS) to build a
highly functional Ministry web site – all with free
tools! We will show you how to plan, design and deploy a
fully functioning web site. We will also cover tools of
the trade and hosting options.
Requirements: There is no text
book for this class. As stated above, please bring a
